The 10th annual Ontario Brewing Awards were handed out a couple of days ago. There were twenty seven categories in all, including Honey/Maple beers, flavoured beers, barrel aged beers, even home brewed beers.
According to reports there was booing when Shock Top took the award for top Belgian Style Wheat beer, which only makes the craft beer crowd look like a bunch of ill-behaved snobs.
Amsterdam Spring Bock was named Beer of the Year.
