I was shocked to learn that my favourite spot, Tracks Brewpub has suffered a couple of break-ins of late. I had noticed a boarded up window in an out of the way spot and I just imagined it was letting in cold air, and I suppose it was at that.
Where it becomes amusing is that the most recent time, the police were able to tell the owners that they knew all about it when they phoned to report it in the morning. It seems a pedestrian had caught their attention, weaving down the middle of the road with a bottle in each hand at 5AM.
Security has been reviewed, even updated and it pleases me that I don't imagine I will have cause to mention this sort of thing again.
